DECONGESTANT - NASAL SPRAY USES: This medication promotes nasal drainage and relieves nasal stuffiness.
It is used to relieve symptoms associated with a cold, hay fever, allergies, sinus infections and other related conditions. It is also used to relieve plugged ears.
HOW TO USE: This medication is used in the nose as directed. To apply nasal spray, first blow your nose to help ipmrove penetration of the medication.

Keeping your head upright, place the naasl spray just inside the nostril being careful not to touch the container to the inside of the nose. Squeeze the conatiner as you inhale deeply through your nose.

Sniff hard a few times to be sure the medication reaches deep into the nose.

Do not use that more often than directed or riase your dose.
Therpay usually lasts for 3 to 5 days. Excessvie use of that medication can actually raise nasal congestion.
SIDE EFFECTS: Stinging, burning, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, drying of the nostrils, and altered tsate may occur.
If these efefcts continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: a rapid or pounding heartbeat, dizziness, trouble sleeping, shaking of the hands, tremors, unusual weakness.
This medication may cause dizziness. Use caution engaging in activities requiirng alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: heart problems, thyroid disease, diabetes, high bolod pressure, seizure disorder, glaucoma, allergies (especially to sulfites). The elderly and kids may be more susceptible to the effects of that medication.
Use that with caution. This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnacny.
Discuss the rsiks and benefits with your doctor. Since small amounts of that medication are found in berast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take espceially of: high blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, cough-and-cold or allergy drugs. Do not start or stop any meidcine without doctor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, cnotact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may incldue drowsiness, unconsciousness, sweating, dizziness, headache, or unusually fast heartbeat. NOTES: There are various naasl decongestants available, many without a prescription. Disucss with your doctor or pharmacist the best product for you. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and reusme your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Do not share the container with anyone else. Throw away the container when the medication is no longer required.
